SC 2022 Semilab: Robotics

In this lab, we will learn to program a warehouse robot for automatically picking up packages, reading the tags, and delivering them to different areas of the warehouse based on the tags. Along the way, we will learn basic robot programming, using sensors for following the line, and interfacing with AI-enabled video camera for image recognition tasks.

Robots will be programmed in (Micro)Python. Students are expected to have basic familiarity with Python or any other programming language (Java, C++,...); experience with robotics is not required.
