Today was the campers’ last day of semilabs. After a week of learning subjects including electricity and magnetism, bioelectricity, chemical reactions, and quantum computing, campers were sad to say goodbye to their instructors. During lectures campers got to learn about biomimicry, particle accelerators, reconstructing networks, modeling, and memorization in machine learning. Campers competed in the engineering day of the Sigma Tournament where they solved problems in biomedical engineering and robotics, and competed to make a track out of cardboard and cardstock to keep a marble in motion for the longest period of time. After workshops and evening clubs, where campers got to ballroom dance and participate in brain ring, campers went to bed happy and well-fed with cookies.
