Bacteria in Our Life: Friends, Enemies, Neighbors

Bacteria. We meet this word every day in our life. Most information tells us mainly that there are a lot of very nasty little creatures around us that try to make our life miserable. Is it so? Is the only bacterial life aim to try to kill as? Are they little stuffed sacks with anti-human poison and nothing else? In this Semilab we approach bacteria with an open mind and answer this and many other questions about bacteria life style, their interaction with our life, and learn basic experimental techniques that scientists used to study them. We also will play creators and build our own new bacteria using the new knowledge.
