This semilab focuses on rational decision-making: about what we perceive, what we believe to be true, what we predict to occur in the future. In so doing, we will broach what it means to be "rational," introducing concepts from mathematical logic, neuroscience, economics, game theory, statistics, and cognitive science. Armed with these tools, we'll try to understand the biological origins of cognitive biases and how to avoid them.
