Compare Your DNA to a Banana's

In this semilab, we briefly discuss the importance of DNA as inheritance mechanism. The natural question arises how to compare DNA sequences between different species or individuals. We discuss underlying mathematics and computer algorithms.
It will be a hands on experience where students will write their own code or/and use the standard code.
Students are required to have intermediate Python programming skills. We also expect that you have some idea of DNA and genes.
