Life in a Drop of Water

There is another world in a drop of pond water! It contains many different types of organisms. Algae, protozoa, insect larvae, amoebas all co-exist together here. This Semilab will introduce students to the fascinating world of microscopic species! Students will not only observe all these species around us but also, under the guidance of the Instructor, will perform a series of real experiments aimed at understanding how environmental factors (temperature, chemicals, light, etc) affect these creatures.
