2025 SCREEM Halloween Event in Stony Brook

Registration closes October 28th. SCREEM event is on November 2nd, 2025.

In collaboration with the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics, we are excited to present the annual Sigma Camper's REcreational Engineering Marathon (SCREEM) in Stony Brook!

If you are:

8 - 16 years of age
a student of Studio of Engaging Math, past Sigma camper or Problem of the Month participant, or their friend
enjoying engineering challenges

You are invited to participate!

You are welcome and encouraged to bring your friends, even if they have never heard of Sigma or the Studio of Engaging Math!

The Boston Halloween’s SCREEM will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Studio of Engaging Math at 320 Washington Street, Suite 301, Brighton MA 02135.

SCREEM is a team event. Teams will partake in a set of mini engineering challenges. The best SCREEMers in each challenge category will receive prizes. You will participate as a group of 2 or 4 students and can form your own team or will be assigned to a team.

In order to participate, you will need to register below. Registration is for each individual. If you know your teammates you will need to indicate your team members on the registration. If you don’t have teammates, you will be assigned to a team.

If you want to have a fun, exciting, and challenging Halloween 2024, then dress up as your favorite character, grab your Halloween candy basket, and join your friends in SCREEMing!
