Its 7 am and we are off,
The day of fun and learning,
Begins with exercise and sport,
And back to work returning.
The first full day of sigma camp,
With semi labs all starting,
The campers hungry to explore,
Are seen to their classrooms rushing.

First day at Silver Lake,
The sleeping giant Sigma Next awakes,
And After Quests and lots of fun,
The camp now really has begun.
The dining hall as dawn comes down,
Fills up with sunny rays that shine.
As all it works and music plays,
The ceremony opening begins to take its place.
Today was the campers’ last day of semilabs. After a week of learning subjects including electricity and magnetism, bioelectricity, chemical reactions, and quantum computing, campers were sad to say goodbye to their instructors. During lectures campers got to learn about biomimicry, particle accelerators, reconstructing networks, modeling, and memorization in machine learning.
Today was the campers’ last day of semilabs. After a week of learning subjects including electricity and magnetism, bioelectricity, chemical reactions, and quantum computing, campers were sad to say goodbye to their instructors. During lectures campers got to learn about biomimicry, particle accelerators, reconstructing networks, modeling, and memorization in machine learning.
Campers had another wonderful day at SigmaCamp. After morning exercise, breakfast, and the fourth day of their first semilabs, campers spent their break swimming at the lake and playing in the game room. Then, they attended lectures in topics such as string theory and astrochemistry. After lunch and their second semilab of the day, campers headed to the tournament (with a snack) to compete in linguistics, logic, and computer science. In the experimental round today, campers had to build electronic circuits.
Today was a great day at SigmaCamp! Campers had an incredible list of lectures to attend today including ones about quantum computing and climate change. Campers played math games at the Sigma Tournament today. Teams went head to head to win a math game and claim victory! Another highlight of the day was the chamber concert. Counselors and campers performed classical music for their friends. After some oatmeal raisin cookies and milk, campers went to bed anticipating another great day at Sigma.
The second full day at Sigma has come to a close. Campers woke up bright and early, exercised, and prepared for the day ahead with a hearty breakfast. Then, campers attended their morning semilab and spent their first break swimming at the lake, playing board games, and sending Sigma Telegraphs. Then, they attended lectures about subjects including lattices and language cognition. After their second semilabs, campers competed in the Biology and Chemistry Sigma Tournament, before relaxing before dinner with some sports, art, and music.
Wow, what a great first day at SigmaCamp! Campers started their day with a hearty breakfast and attending their first semilab of the day. Afterwards, campers had fun during the break playing soccer, making art, and playing music. Before lunch, campers engaged in lectures about marine viruses and quantum entanglement. Fueled with a delicious lunch, campers headed to their semilab, tournament, and workshops afterwards. Finally, after a long day of fun and excitement, campers headed to evening clubs to relax and unwind. The first day of camp proved to be exhibiting!
We are so excited to meet you all tomorrow! We have been hard at work preparing for campers arriving and the fun week ahead. In the midst of preparations for Sigma Tournament and Semilabs, the counselors also made sure the lake water temperature was just right. Safe travels tomorrow and we will see you all soon!
