To support applicants during the Evaluation Exam (EE) portion of the SigmaNext application and the Qualification Quiz (QQ) portion of the SigmaWest and SigmaCamp applications, we are offering Office Hours where students can receive one-on-one guidance from our staff. These sessions are designed to help applicants get unstuck and move in the right direction - without giving away answers.
Key Details:
- Who Can Attend: These sessions are open to applicants to any of the three camps. Office hours are intended for applicants only. Parents may attend to accompany applicants, but will not be able to ask any academic questions.
- Format:
- Applicants can join the main Zoom room to ask general questions about the application process or the camp.
- For specific questions related to the EE, applicants will be placed into a private breakout room with a staff member for up to 10 minutes of individual guidance.
Important Notes:
- No question is too big or too small! Whether you're 90% of the way through a problem or you just don't know how to start, we're here to help.
- The purpose of office hours is to provide helpful hints and guidance, not direct answers.
- All applicants will be treated equally - office hours have no impact on admission decisions.
