SigmaNext 2026: Essay

All applicants are required to submit an essay (new and returning).

This year, we ask you to include 2 topics in your essay for SigmaNext 2026:

  1. About yourself: What do you like? What are your interests? Why do you want to come to SigmaNext, and what are you hoping to find there? This part is very important for us and especially for our counselors who get to know campers weeks in advance.
  2. About semilabs: Please review the semilabs offered this year and choose your top three. For each one, explain why you are excited about it and what draws you to that topic. We’re especially interested in what you hope to learn, explore, or create in these semilabs.
Deadline for submitting an Essay is March 15, 2026 11:59 PM EDT
