To apply to SigmaCamp 2026, you must complete the steps of the application process listed below. The application deadline is March 15, 2026. All applicants will receive their admission decisions by April 5, 2026.
You may apply to and attend any number of our camps this year: SigmaCamp, SigmaWest, and/or SigmaNext. For SigmaCamp and SigmaWest, you need to submit solutions to the Qualification Quiz (QQ) only once, as it applies to both camps. If you are also applying for SigmaNext (you are 14–15 y.o.), you must additionally submit the Entrance Exam (EE). Each camp application requires a separate essay. Only one recommendation letter is required for all camps.
Brazilian candidates: We currently offer academic camps in both the United States and Brazil. Brazilian students will be accepted to SigmaCamp 2026 only through SigmaChallenge 2025.

Fill out a very short form and check one or more camps you’re interested in. Please do this as soon as possible, even if your plans might change. There’s no obligation.
Please note that you must complete this form before you can submit any application materials, including an essay, a recommendation letter, or the Qualification Quiz (QQ). You must still fill out this form even if you are admitted to a camp through POM.
Write a short essay telling us all about you and what you are interested in.
All applicants are required to submit it (new, returning, or admitted through POM).
Only new applicants (not admitted through POM) are required to submit one letter of recommendation from a math or science teacher.
Returning campers (attended any previous SigmaCamp or SigmaNext) may skip this step. Applicants admitted through the Problem of the Month contest (POM) who have been notified by email may also skip this step.
The Qualification Quiz (QQ) includes problems in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Linguistics, and Computer Science. You are NOT expected to solve all the problems - try to do what you can! This year, we are also offering QQ Office Hours where students can receive one-on-one guidance from our staff!
Applicants admitted through the Problem of the Month contest (POM) who have been notified by email may skip this step.
